What’s all this shit with old ladies not waxing their upper lips. Really, when the white mole hairs get longer than an inch the hot wax needs to be applied. Rip those bad boys right outa town.
Interesting Insight to this problem, what’s socially acceptable?
If you convert this problem to photography you get many boundaries in the post Sep/11 world. Even if i wanted to photograph this "human happening" i wouldn’t be surprised if something horrible bad happened to me if i shoot that street style without them knowing.
My real point is a great photographer will work around that, a amateur will give up.
Half of portrait photography is getting the person in the right place so the shoot can begin. Think about location, person and mood. Mood includes what they are wearing and the overall feel of the piece. Once you achieve this you can decide what film to use and type of light you wish to use.
A photo is an evolution, nothing works perfectly the way you plan it. Things change and the "perfect" scenario adapts.
Like to say sorry for taking so long to post again, and to all the friends that pushed me to upload more, Thank you very much.
My work has headed in a new direction. One that has diverted from portraits, mainly because I have been unmotivated and basically board to death by the course I WAS studying.
I’m now reworking this and in the mist of applying for 2 new courses for next year. 1. Is Applied Photography and 2. is Photography (Arts).
Photo shoot this weekend, results soon.
